About the Author

Hi, I'm David. I'm a Christian, a Father, a Military Veteran and an Instructor Pilot. I try very hard to be good at all of it.

When our son Brave was born I was inspired to teach him all of the lessons that I had to learn the hard way.

It took me 30+ years to learn to overcome challenges, stand up tall and be proud of who I am, and learn to collect all the lessons and education I could along the way. Those are tools in your toolbelt. In these books, I hope to lay the groundwork for my son to find his success much faster along his journey. I want to show him that he can do ANYTHING and to cheer his successes along the way!

What am I teaching in these books? "Be confident in yourself and your abilities, never give up, stay positive, God has your back, you are not alone, Keep Going." That's it. That's the good stuff!

When he was three, everyday when I told him these stories over dinner, he was laughing and cheering the characters on. He looked up to them and thought, “if they can do it, I can too”. Later on, we would hear him repeating the slogans while he played or working to solve problems on his own in wonderful and memorable ways. What he was learning, came out as positive affirmations and playful cheers everyday. We loved it so much that my wife encouraged me to find an illustrator and put these stories on paper. And after seeing his joy with these stories, we decided to share them with the world.

Now we've written the adventures down so you can enjoy them with your kids too. So come on the adventure with us. There is so much more to come!
